Biography

Rosa Cappuleri is a Corleone native resident, the daughter of Antonino Cappuleri and Emmanuela Vecchio, who married in 1785.^[1] She is likely named after her maternal grandmother.

Rosa marries Michaelangelo Rizzotto, son of Benigno Rizzotto and Giuseppa Piranio, on 21 October 1810. This record calls Rosa’s father by the surname "Rizzotto," and her mother, "Gianetto."^[2]

Michaelangelo and Rosa (or "Rosaria," as she's called in her children's marriage records) have at least two children, Giuseppa (c. 1812) and Benigno (c. 1820), named after their paternal grandparents.

Giuseppa marries Gaetano Dragna on 10 June 1832. Rosaria has died by this time.^[3]

Benigno marries Paola Crescimanna on 6 September 1846.^[4]
