He was married, a renter and a laborer on a farm as seen in the image of the original census. Also included in the household are wife Sella Carlisle, daughter Gladys Carlisle and son Horace Carlisle.[3]

Henry Carlisle was listed as the father of Wilber Carlisle who died July 28, 1922 in Newberry, Alachua County, Florida. The mother was listed as Stella Carlisle.[4]
