Biography

Clara was born 1822.^[1] She was the daughter of Carl Gunnarsson (1788-1822) and Sara (Magnusdotter) Bylander (1789-1859), she passed away 1903.^[2]

Clara was born in the village of Byttorp, Rångedala parish, she was the fifth child in the family. Only about two months after her birth her father Carl Gunnarsson died of "inflammation fever".^[3] About a year and a half later, her mother Sara (Magnusdotter) Bylander remarries Andreas (Larsson) Bylander.^[4][5] Around 1840, the family moves to Härna parish and Tissås Säteri, which Andreas (Larsson) Bylander has become the owner of.^{[6] [7]}

In 1850 Clara marries^[8] Andreas Pettersson i Tomta and moves to him in Tomta Nedergård, Södra Vings parish. Andreas has then taken over the farm from his mother, the widow Eva Magnusdotter.^[9]

Clara and her husband live and work the farm, they got 5 children and they both die shortly after each other in the spring of 1903.^[10][11]
