Biography

When Margaret Carr was born in 1784 in Manlius, New York, her father, Levi, was 22, and her mother, Ruth, was 19. She married Jonathan Sprague in 1801 in Hannibal, New York. They had eight children in 20 years. She died on April 18, 1867, in Battle Creek, Michigan, having lived a long life of 83 years.
