Biography
Ellen was born about 1793 in North Carolina.[1]
She married William Cole (abt.1791-1880), probably soon after 18 Sep 1810, when their marriage bond was posted in Orange County, North Carolina.[2]
Her obituary says that all of her children reached adulthood, so the children named in the will of her husband in 1874 are probably all of their children: John A, Jesse, Stephen, William T, Willis, Allen, Eliza, and Sarah Caroline.
