Biography

Margaret Carroll was born in Jersey City, NJ, in 1902 to James Carroll and Elizabeth "Lizzie" Moran.[1][2][3]

The Carroll family lived at 255 Grand Street, Jersey City, NJ between 1905 and 1910.[4][5] After the death of James Carroll in 1911, Lizzie (Moran) Carroll moved her family back in with her father, William Moran, on Washington Street.[6][7] In the late 1920s, the Moran and Carroll families moved to 363 Montgomery St.[2]

Margaret married Joseph Jordan in 1927 at St. Bridget's Rectory in Jersey City, NJ.[2] They settled at 145 Springfield Ave, Rutherford, NJ.[8][9]

She fell ill and passed away in 1949 at St. Mary's Hospital in Passaic, NJ.[3] She was buried in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery at 52 Totowa Road Totowa, NJ.[3]
