Jane Carson (married name Cozens) was born in 1854 in Geelong, Victoria, Australia, the daughter of Jane (Mulholland) Carson and Joseph Carson.^{[citation needed]}

At the age of 18, she married Henry Edward Cozens on 6 February 1872 in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia.^[1]

Jane died on 6 February 1891 in Skye, Victoria, aged 37 years.^[2]

Research notes

Jane was born in Geelong however no verification of the birth has been found.. She was the sole beneficiary of her father's will.
