Harry F Carson was born on 5 Mar 1889 in Tennessee.^[1]

Harry served in the US Army in World War I. He was a private in the 161st Depot Brigade.^[2]

Harry married Mary (Hughes) Sanford, the mother of comedian Redd Foxx, in the 1950's.^[3] Harry died on 14 Oct 1969 in Los Angeles, California, when he dropped a gun and it went off, killing him.^[4][1] He was buried in Angelus Rosedale Cemetery in Los Angeles.^[5][2]
