J. W. Carter, Aged 22 Dies At His Home In Calvin July 22
J. W. Carter, aged 22 years, died in his home near Calvin Tuesday morning, July 22. He was ill with swamp fever and lived only a short time.
Funeral services were held at Bethlehem Wednesday morning. Mr. Carter is survived by his mother and father, Mr. and Mrs. C. B. Carter; four sisters, Pearl, Ellen, Helen Carter and Mrs. Bertha Weeks of Goldonna; and one brother, Carl Carterl The family is now with Mrs. Weeks and will return hoem soon.
Mr. Carter had many friends and will be missed by everyone.
Burial: Bethlehem Cemetery, Winn Parish, Louisiana
