Daniel married Mehitabel G. Grindle (1822 - 1914) on 3 Jun 1841[2] in Blue Hill, Hancock. Their children were:
Daniel died on 2 Sep 1898[3][4] in Blue Hill aged 82. He is buried in Seaside Cemetery, Blue Hill.
