Biography
Augustus was born about 1750. He was the son of Joshua Case and Elizabeth Dickerson. When Augustus Case was born on 17 July 1759, in Morris, New Jersey, United States, his father, Joshua Case, was 37 and his mother, Elizabeth Dickerson, was 36.
He married Elizabeth Lizzie B Bell about 1793, in Succasunna, Roxbury Township, Morris, New Jersey, United States. the daughter of Onesimus Bell.
They were the parents of at least 5 sons and 8 daughters. In 1774, at the age of 15, his occupation is listed as started as apprentice in the carpenter trade. in New York City, New York, United States.
