Andrew Jackson Casteel was born 27 Jan 1856 in Cape Girardeau Co Missouri and died 26 Nov 1917 (verified by Missouri Death Certificate 39195 https://www.sos.mo.gov/images/archives/deathcerts/1917/1917_00040802.PDF This death certificate states that his father was George W. Casteel, but his father was George McClelland Casteel, born Monroe Co KY and also died in 1883 in Ripley Co MO. Andrew Jackson Casteel's mother was not Nancy Carmack she was Miriam Carmack, born 1830 Tennessee and died 1900 in Ripley Co MO.
