Myrtle Castles (married name Tonkin) was born on 21 January 1895 in Kyneton, Victoria, Australia, the daughter of Alice Maude Castles and Herbert Henry Castles.^[1][2]

She married George Ernest Charles Tonkin on 3 April 1920 at the Methodist Church in Warrnambool, Victoria.^[2][3]

Myrtle died on 16 November 1993 in Melbourne, Victoria.^[2]
