Dorsey's Regiment, Missouri Commanded by Colonel Caleb Dorsey, this unit was assigned to Cabell's Cavalry Brigade, Steele's Division. Service records indicate Dorsey's Regiment, however it is not clear if this unit ever reached regimental size. Dorsey's given rank of Colonel seems to indicate that this may have been the case. "Units of the Confederate States Army" by Joseph H Crute, Jr contains no history for this unit.
