Special Operations Command (SOCOMD) is an Australian Defence Force command that established 5 May 2003 to unite all of the Australian Army's special forces units and by 2008 was fully operational.

Special Operations Command is made up of the following units:

  • Headquarters Special Operations Command
  • Headquarters Special Forces Group
  • Defence Special Operations Training & Education Centre
  • 1st Commando Regiment
  • Special Air Service Regiment
  • 2nd Commando Regiment
  • Special Operations Engineer Regiment
  • Australian Defence Force School of Special Operations
  • Australian Defence Force Parachuting School
  • Special Operations Logistics Squadron.

For the purpose of Categorisation, Independent Companies, Commando Squadrons and Coastwatchers from the Second World War have also been included here, so as to keep 'like' units together.
