Biography
John was born in 1823, the son of Thomas Challis and Mary Saunders. He was baptised 28 September 1823 [1] He married Elizabeth Jeffery in 1841. [2] In 1851, John , his wife and children migrated to Australia. [3] He passed away in 1880. [4]
