Biography

Lydia, born 22 February 1721/2, was the daughter of Isaac Child and Margaret Tunsteed of Childsbury, Berkeley County, Province of South Carolina.

On 5 February 1740/1 she married George Chicken. They had a daughter Catherine (b. 29 January 1741/2). George Chicken died 2 March 1745/6.

She married second on 28 January 1747/8 Elias Ball.

Lydia died 1 April 1765.

Research Note

There are no primary sources showing her with a middle name Turnsteed or Tunsteed.
