Elizabeth Child of Oxton married John Hall of Southwell on 11 April 1784 in Oxton, St. Peter and St. Paul, Nottinghamshire, England.[2]

Research notes
A number of ancestry trees state that John Hall was married to Elizabeth Pickering, not Elizabeth Child. But they are unsourced and I can find no matching marriage record so I believe this info may be incorrect. Having said this though there could be more than one couple called John and Elizabeth Hall who were baptising children at around this time in this area- looking at the baptisms at findmypast.co.uk there are a number of children baptised between 1785 and 1800 in both Oxton and Southwell. Did the same couple have all these children? If the info for Eliz Child is correct she would most likely have been beyond her childbearing years by the time of the 1800 baptism.
