Louis Chouinard est né le 28 février 1813 à Saint-Jean-Port-Joli, Bas-Canada, fils de Jean-Baptiste Chouinard et de Félicité Jean.
Louis est décédé le 21 novembre 1813 et a été inhumé deux jours plus tard à Saint-Jean-Port-Joli.
