Birth

Jedidah Chubbuck was born at Wareham, Massachusetts, on 7 Jan 1760, the daughter of Ebenezer Chubbuck and Mary (Burgess) Chubbuck.^[1]

Marriage

Jedidah Chubbuck (recorded as Jedida Chubbusch) of Ellington, Connecticut, married Isaiah Porter of Coventry, Connecticut, at Coventry on 10 Jan 1787,^[2] as his second wife. The will of Isaiah Porter, made in 1811, names his wife Jedida.^[3]

Isaiah and Jedidah (Chubbuck) Porter had two sons, born at Coventry, Connecticut:

1. Abner Porter), born in 1788.^[4]
2. George W. Porter, born in 1792^[5]

Death

The gravestone of Jedidah Porter at the North Coventry Cemetery in Coventry, Connecticut, says that she died on 29 Apr 1814 in her 55th year.^[6]
