Biography

Anna was born in Wepener[1][2], Orange Free State on 26 April 1886.[3]She is the daughter of Daniel Clack and Johanna Botha.

She married Johan Arnold Bothma in Johannesburg on 28 June 1909.[1]

Johannes Stephanus van As married Annie Maria Clack Bothma in Johannesburg[2] on 23 May 1918. He was 29 years old and gave his birthplace as Modderfontein farm, Heidelberg district, Transvaal. She was 30 years old, from Wepener int he Freestate. She was a divorcee.[4][5][6]

He died in Heidelberg in the Transvaal on 5 November 1982.[2] Johannes had no children.
