Lydia Lorenza Pont was born in the year 1869 in the district of East Maitland, New South Wales, Australia the daughter of Joseph Clark and Matilda Pont. [1]
Lydia married James William Button in the 1888 in the district of East Maitland.[2]
Lydia Lorenza Button passed away on 3 Jan 1909 in East Maitland and was buried in the East Maitland Cemetery, East Maitland, New South Wales.[3] [4] She was 38 years old.
In Memoriams were published by her children in 1916:IN MEMORIAM. BUTTON.--In sad but loving memory of our dear mother and mother-in-law who departed this life at East Maitland, on January 3, 1909; aged, 38 years. ... Inserted by her sorrowing daughter and son-in-law, Pearl and Ernest Wood. BUTTON.---In sad and loving memory of our dear mother, Lydia Lorenza Button, who departed this life January 3rd, 1909, aged 38 years. ... Inserted by her loving daughter and son-in-law, Maud and Walter Balser.[5]
