Elizabeth was born in 1833. Henry and Elizabeth and five children arrived in New Zealand on the Zealandia, from Gravesend to Lyttleton, on 21 September 1858. [1] Elizabeth was not granted the Old Age Pension aged 65 in 1899, she had to provide evidence of her age. [2] Her pension was granted in 1902. [3] She passed away in 1919.
The family traveled on the Zealandia. [4] Given Elizabeth's age according to the ship records, 24, the children travelling with them might be Henry's brothers or sisters, as Thomas aged 15 and Frances Ann aged 12 would have been born when Elizabeth was 9 or 13.
