Sarah, the daughter of Samuel Clark and his wife Hannah, née Snowball, who had been married at Scarborough, Yorkshire, on 2 October 1761[1], was born about 1775 and baptized at the parish church of St Mary at Beverley on 8 January 1775.[2]
Marriage
Sarah married Thomas Wride by banns at the parish church of St Michael and All Angels at Sutton upon Derwent on 14 May 1797. Sarah was described as a Spinster of the parish of Sutton upon Derwent. Witnesses were Thomas Yeoman and William Wride.[3]
Children
Sarah and Thomas had only one child:
Samuel, born at Sutton upon Derwent on 25 February 1798 and baptized the same day at the parish church of St Michael and All Angels at Sutton upon Derwent.[4]
Death and Burial
Sarah died, aged 24, at Barmby on the Moor on 27 August 1798 and was buried in the church yard of the parish church of St Edith at Bishop Wilton on 29 August 1798.[5]
