Biography
Ellen married John Coyle on 20 July 1880 in Prince Edward Island. The couple were married by banns. The officiant was Rev. James Chaisson. The witnesses to the wedding were James Cormack and Julia Green. [1]
In 1901, Ellen (age 43) was widowed and living in Charlottetown, Queens, Prince Edward Island with her children (John, Joseph, Anna M., Maggie, Wilfred, Frank, Peter and Katie). Also in the household was Ellen's sister, Maggie (age 41). [2]
