Biography
Jesse Claypool was born February 2, 1752 in Hardy County, Virginia (now West Virginia). He died September 28, 1833, near Wyoming, Bath County, Kentucky[10] where his will was probated on August, 1835. He married Elizabeth "Betty" Miller in Virginia[11] and they had a large family. He is listed in the Census of Hampshire County, Virginia in 1783 with a family of seven. He moved to Bourbon County, Kentucky in 1807. His will is dated August, 1830. Executor: John Keithley, son-in-law.[12]
