Esther May Clemmons was born about 1920 in Washington, Beaufort County, North Carolina to parents Frank Clemmons and Pauline Williams Clemmons. She, unfortunately, passed away as a young child on August 14, 1923, at 3 years of age due to malarial fever. She was buried the same day in Cedar Hill Cemetery[1].
