Biography
When Irene Jane Clinkscales was born on October 22, 1833, in Anderson, South Carolina, her father, John, was 25, and her mother, Eliza, was 22. She was the wife of William Miami Osborne; their known children are:

- John C. (1859–1950)[1]
- Sallie S. (Osborne) Martin (1861–1921)
