In the 1920 census Addie (age 24) was the wife of Porter Parman in White Oak, Harrison, Missouri.[4] They had four children at that time.:
Claude, 7 years old
Randall, 5 years old
Ruth 4 years old
Rhoda, 2 years old
In the 1930 census, enumerated on 30 Apr 1930, Addie (age 35) was the wife of Porter Parman on Market Street, New Hampton, Harrison, Missouri, United States. By this time, Robert had joined the family, and his age was listed as eleven months. Son Claude, 17, appears to be married to a young lady named Susan, 18 years of age.[5]
In the 1940 census Addie (age 45), Dressmaker, was the wife of Porter B Parman in Albany, Gentry, Missouri.[6] Bobby Ray, aka Robert, was the only child still living at home. He was ten years old. Addie's mother, Sarah J. Clouse, 74, is now living in the household.
Addie's husband Porter died on 2 Jan 1966 in Albany, Gentry, Missouri. She married Charles F Parman, Porter's brother, on 1 September 1973 in Gentry, Missouri, United States.[7] He was said to be "of Ventura, Ventura, California. She was mentioned in an obituary for her sister Julia as "Mrs. Frank Parma of Ventura, California."[8] It would seem, then, that Frank, as he was apparently known, had settled in Ventura at some point, and had come home and married Addie, and then, as a couple, returned to Ventura to live. He died there on 30 Nov 1982.
