Biography
Elizabeth Jane Clout was born in 1865 in Bowral, New South Wales, Australia.
Elizabeth was the second of 11 children of William Clout and Sarah Warburton.[1]
Elizabeth Jane Clout married American emigrant Walter George Tibbett, or Tibbetts, on 29th November 1882 in the Christ Church St Laurence Church of England, Sydney, New South Wales.[2]
Their children were William George (born 1883), Walter James (born 1885), and Elizabeth Jane Lavina (born 1887). The boys married sisters, Elsie Jane and Mildred May Bunt respectively. Between them, they produced 23 Tibbett grandchildren, although the grandparents were no longer alive to enjoy them. Elizabeth married Daniel Lewis.
Elizabeth Jane passed away after giving birth to her third child and namesake, Elizabeth Jane Lavina, on 25th January 1887, in Sutton Forest, New South Wales.[3]
