Biography

Carlisle was born in 1916. He was the son of Carlisle Cobb and Katherine Treanor. ^{[1] [2]}

He married first by 1940 to Juliette Dale ^[3] and it is not known if they had any children before she passed away in 1952. Carlisle married second to Ina Mae Pearce, and they had a son: ^[4]

Carlisle was discharged from the US Army on 03 Mar 1946 at Fort Gordon, Georgia after serving in World War II with the 28th Cavalry Reconnaissance Squadron (Mechanized). ^[5]

He passed away in 1994 ^{[6] [7]} and is buried at Oconee Hill Cemetery in Athens, Georgia. ^[4]
