William Allen Cochran was born at T9 R2 NBPP (now Codyville), Maine, Jun 1842 (1900 USC) or 26 Jun 1843 (death record), the son of John Cochran and Orena A. Day; [1] died of general paralysis at Codyville, 18 Aug 1919, aged 76y 2m, [2] and is buried in the Codyville Cemetery, Lot 17. [3] [4]

He married, about 1866, Lucinda Frances Higgins. [5]
