Othneil Coker was born in 1816, in Douglas Township, Clarendon, South Carolina, United States as the son of Phillip Coker and Unknown Coker. He married Elizabeth Ann Robinson about 1849, in Sumter, Sumter, South Carolina, United States. They were the parents of at least 4 sons and 4 daughters. He lived in Sumter, Sumter, South Carolina, United States in 1850 and Clarendon, South Carolina, United States in 1860.
