Biography

Horace Cole was born on 1 May 1865 according to Canada Census 1901. ^[1] This date is supported by his death certificate which records his age as 62 on 3 July 1927. ^[2], and his marriage certificate which records his age as 31 in 1896.

He was born in Milton, Nova Scotia to parents James & Isabella (Holmes) Cole who had 3 children:

• Horace Thorpe Cole 1865 - 1927
• Herbert Cole 1868 - 1868
• Bertha May (Cole) Johnson 1871 - 1953 ^[3]

Horace married Myrtle Vale Freeman on 28 May 1896 in Port Medway, Nova Scotia. Marriage record also shows:
