Biography

In the 1850 census Benjamin Cole (age 19) was in Pleasant, Switzerland, Indiana, United States.[1] Benjamin S Cole married Sarah Pitman on 14 Feb 1852 in Switzerland, Indiana, United States.[2] In the 1860 census Benjamin Cole (age 29) was in Pleasant Township, Switzerland, Indiana, United States.[3] Benjamin S Cole was in a military record in 1861-1865 in Indiana, United States.[4] Served as Union private 22nd Reg. Indiana Inf. in U.S. Civil War and killed the Battle of Perrysville, Kentucky. Benjamin S Cole died on 8 Oct 1862 and was buried in Perryville National Cemetery, Perryville, Kentucky, United States.[5]
