Antony Collings was born January 4, 1678[1] and was christened the next day in Antony, Cornwall, England. He was the son of Roger and Elizabeth Collings[2].

Sep 29, 1773 from Thomas Collins of Albemarle County, Virginia, planter, eldest son of Anthony Collins of CC, planter, decd, to John Maddox of CC, planter, for 10 £ part of a tract of land called Partners Content, lying in CC, containing "three hundred seventy and acres" patented to Luke Garner and William Godfrey on Feb 23, 1710, bounded by the head of a branch coming out of the Reedy branch of Chingomuxon Cr, containing about 100 acres. The parcel hereby being sold was, by will was devised to sd Thomas Collins, by sd Anthony Collins, his father, together with the buildings, fencings, and improvements thereon, and the rents, issues, and profits of the same. To have and to hold to sd John Maddox, during the life of sd Thomas Collins.

In fact, the negative evidence is as follows: Zebulon is not mentioned in Anthony's Will, either as a child-heir or named as a child willed one shilling. Why would Anthony purposively disclude Elizabeth and not mention Zebulon or the many other children listed here? Zebulon married in New Jersey, and the family is mainly found in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. The Anthony Collings family was in Maryland and Virginia.
