Bridget was born in 1838. She was the daughter of [Colleran also used Collins] She passed away in 1893 in Brooklyn , NY but buried Augusta, GA, Magnolia Cemetery
She had nine children with her first husband, Edward. [1]
When the first husband died, she married Beranrd Geraty.

The family lore was that there were Collins in the State of Georgia before Bridget, her sister Mary and brother Patrick arrived.
There was talk of about children born in Ireland. Their mother was sickly, so Mary Collins used to travel back and forth to Ireland from Augusta, GA
