    The death occurred at her home at 53 William-street, Mayfield, of Mrs.Elizabeth Emily Ayliffe who was 71 years of age. She was a resident of Mayfield for 50 years and one of the oldest members of St. Andrew's Church of England, Mayfield. She was a native of Wallsend. There are 10 surviving members of the family, 39 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
