Biography

Elvira H Comer was born on April 12, 1852 in Reevesville, Johnson, Illinois, United States, daughter of Nathaniel Morgan Comer (1816–1877) and Amanda C Moore (~1824–~1897).

In 1860, Elvira (8) was living in Township 13 S Range 4 E, Johnson with her father, Nathaniel (44); her siblings, James C (18), Isaac A (16), John N (11), Charles W (9), and Nancy (1); and Amand C Comer (36), Elvira H Comer (8), Sarah A Comer (6), and William Comer (4). [1]

Elvira (20) married Edwin Atherton Culver (21) (born on November 8, 1850 in Johnson) on April 18, 1872 in Johnson.[2]

In 1900, Elvira (48) was living in household of Edwin Culver (49) in Grantsburg, Johnson with her husband, Edwin (49); and Melvira Culver (48), William Culver (22), Ella A Culver (20), Clyga S Culver (17), Joseph O Culver (15), Cora L Culver (12), and Wlsie B Culver (8). [3]

In 1910, Elvira (58) was living in household of Edwin A Culver (59) in Grantsburg, Johnson with her husband, Edwin A (59); and Elvira H Culver (58), William W Culver (35), and Eula Culver (18). [4]

In 1920, Elvira (68) was living in Grantsburg, Johnson with Elvira Culver (undefined), and William M Culver (undefined). [5]

In 1930, Elvira (78) was living in household of Charles Lemley (50) in First, Brookport with her siblings, Charles Lemley (50), and Maggie Lemley (56); and Gwendolyn Lemley (11), and Elvira Culver (77). [6]

Elvira died on November 15, 1932 in Brookport, aged 80.[7] [8]
