Josiah was born in 1845, the son of George Conkle and Abelone Long. He married Mary McCaslin in 1866,[1] and they had at least 3 children.[2] Josiah passed away in 1907 (no death record) and is buried at Salem Reformed Cemetery in Holmes County, Ohio.[3]
