Biography

Born at home, 230 Main Street, Hartford, Connecticut, which was purchased in 1917 from Ivy (Ney) Conklin by the Aetna Insurance Company to build an office building.

For twenty-five years he was with the J. M. Ney Company, serving as Vice-President and Treasurer at the time of his retirement on January 1, 1940, and for some years before that date. He married Edith Ney, a daughter of the late J. M. Ney, the founder of the Company ; she died March 18, 1934.
