Residence: drumellihy, County Clare, Ireland

Patrick CONSIDINE1 lived in Dromelihy (Westby), Clare, Ireland in 1825.2 The Tithe Applotment Books for the old Civil Parish of Kilmacduane (Cooraclare) are dated 1825. From a stucy of these we uncovered information on just one Considine holding at Drumellihy (Westby), the details being: A Patrick Considine was shown holding 11 acres of 2nd quality land and 9.75 acres of 3rd quality land, which in turn brought his total property holding at Drumellihy (Westby) in 1825 to 20.75 acres. Again regrettably from a research point of view these early Land Records were not very detailed in taht they made no mention of age, marital status etc. Nevertheless we believe that there is a reasonalble possibility that the above Patrick Considine may have been the father of Michael Considine listed on the 1855 Land Records whom we believe was your (Carol Ann Clancy) g-g-grandfather's father.-paraphrased from Clare Heritage Center Report.

Research Notes

Date is estimated at 25 years before his son, Michael, was born.

DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Patrick by comparing test results with other carriers of his Y-chromosome or his mother's mitochondrial DNA. However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line. It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Patrick:

Considine-353 and Considine-23 appear to represent the same person because: both represent Carol (Clancy) Johnson's GGGGgrandfather.
