DIED On Fifth day evening, the 2nd of the 7th mo., at the house of his son-in-law Cyrus Griest, in Menallen Township, Adams county, Pa., Samuel Cook, Sen., a member of Warrington Monthly Meeting, York County, Pa. in the 85th year of his age.

3 July 1857: Samuel Cook, Sr. died.
