Laurena/Lou Adeline Cook was born on June 24, 1867, in Benton, Illinois, her father, William Randolph Cook (1841-1911) and her mother, Mary Emily Webb (1841-1940). She had on child out of weblock and married five times. She died on March 30, 1938, in Centralia, Illinois and buried in Hillcrest Memorial Park, Centralia, Marion County, Illinois.
