Son of William Thomas Cooke (1865-1948) & Jeannette "Nettie" Lee (1866-1960),[1] Delbert Carl Cooke was born on March 9, 1893, in Paris, Arkansas.[2] He married Ethel L. Elliott (1891-1989) on October 6, 1916, in Garvin, Oklahoma.[3] He died on June 24, 1957, at the age of 64.[4]
