Birth and Parents

Nathaniel Coolidge was born in Massachusetts.

Nathaniel, the second son and fourth of six children of Nathaniel Coolidge and Dorothy Whitney was born on 4 May 1760 at Watertown, Massachusetts.^[1]

Marriage and Children

Nathaniel married Katharine Baldwin, daughter of Nathan and Lydia (Oakes) Baldwin on 14 August 1787 at Worcester, Worcester, Massachusetts.^[2]He and Katharine had seven children born at Worcester, Massachusetts:

1. Nathaniel Coolidge (b. 14 Aug 1787; d. 1835),^[3] m. Lucy Porter (1790-1825)
