DUKE.-March 4, 1945, Charlotte Lillian, late dearly beloved wife of John and loving mother of Florence and Mervyn, and mother-in-law of Iris and grandmother of Bruce and Marilyn, aged 69 years. At rest. ^[1]

Mrs. J. Duke.

Mrs. Charlotte Lillian Duke, wife of Mr. John Duke, of Sydney, passed away on Sunday aged 69 years, the funeral taking place to Rookwood Church of England cemetery on Monday. Mr. Mervyn Duke, of Kempsey Ambulance staff, is a son of deceased, and he hurried to Sydney to attend the funeral. Miss Florence Duke (at home) is a daughter, and there are two grandchildren, Bruce and Marilyn. Much deep sympathy is extended to Mr. Mervyn Duke, and also to his father and sister, in their sad bereavement. ^[2]
