Biography

Arnold was born in Deadwood, South Dakota, in 1905 to Theron and Blanche Cope. They divorced, and Blanche married Samuel Horel, who adopted Arnold--hence the Horel name. They also divorced, but by then, Arnold had married Erma Donnelly. They divorced, and he married Genevieve Flaherty in Spokane, Washington. Arnold was listed variously as a presser or a tailor. Arnold died in San Francisco, California, just shy of his 25th birthday.
