Isabella Copland was born on September 30, 1825 in Monymusk, Aberdeenshire, Scotland, United Kingdom, daughter of William Copland (~1795–1875) and Jean Grant (~1788–1868).
In the 1841 census Isabella (age 15) was on Shoe Lane, Aberdeen Greyfrairs, Aberdeenshire.[1]
Isabel married John Scorgie in December 1848 in Cluny, Aberdeen, Scotland.[2]
In the 1851 census Isabella (age 25) was the wife of John Scorgie in Moor Of Balvack, Monymusk, Aberdeenshire.[3]
In the 1861 census Isabella (age 35), Rabbit Wife, was the wife of John Scorgie in Moor Balvack, Monymusk, Aberdeenshire.[4]
In the 1871 census Isabella (age 44), Occupier Of Croft Of 3 Acres, was the head of household in Hill Of Balvack, Monymusk, Aberdeenshire.[5]
