Biography

Jessie was the daughter of [[Corfield- 55| Jubil Corfield and Jessie Greatbanks. ^{[1] [2]}

In the "1901 Census for England," she listed a Jessie Corfield, aged 2; is listed in the household of her father Jubil Corfield. She and her family was recorded at Prestwich, Lancashire, England. ^[3] With her on the census were; Her father, Jubil Corfield, and Elizabeth Ellen, her sister, aged 5. [Her sister Minnie was not listed in the household as she was in Monsall Fever Hospital in 1901.]

She entered the Workhouse with her Family in 1907. The Workhouse was situated in Chorlton, Manchester, Lancashire, England. ^[4]

She still remains in the Workhouse with her family. ^[5]

Jessie is still listed as being in the Workhouse in 1910. ^[6]

It appears that she and her family left the Workhouse around 1911.

In the 1911 Census for England she and her family are recorded as boarders with William Killon and his wife in Bury, Lancashire, England ^[7] With her on the census were; her father, Jubil Corfield, aged 40; her sister Minnie, aged 11; the wife of William Killon and a lodger were also listed at the address.

She married Thomas Morris in 1924 in St Mary's, Bury, Lancashire, England ^{[8] [9]}

They had three children.
